Great for kids and families! In this all ages ceramic ornament workshop led by ceramic artist Mandy Ranck, each attendee will have the chance to make 10-15 pieces. There will be a demonstration on how to create 3D ceramic ornaments as well as instruction on how to make your on unique templates. There will also be an opportunity to use a huge assortment of cookie cutter shapes. You will get to learn several different ceramic decorating techniques, including slip trailing, slip transfer, stamping and painting to make your small “one of a kind” works of art. Participants will get to choose from an assortment of clays including: stoneware, terra-cotta and porcelain and several different decorating pigments. Main Street Arts will fire the ornaments in their kiln and contact you when they are ready to be picked up.
